We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Band Saw Operator who can help us meet the high demand for our products and services. This person will be part of a high energy team of highly skilled welders, fabricators and machine operators at our state of the art facility in Williamston, NC.

Our company, Metcore Industrial Solutions, manufactures high precision metal components and assemblies in multiple industry sectors including agricultural, air filtration, pharmaceutical, construction, and power/industrial equipment.  We have the latest technology and offer contract manufacturing services to companies across eastern North Carolina.

JOB SUMMARY:

This individual will assist and support with the functions of the Fabrication department. These functions include using a measuring tape, cutting of parts and drilling holes according to design and customer specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use of all types of metal band saws, drill press, punch press and all other types of shop equipment
• Use of power tools and electro-pneumatic tools
• Other job duties as assigned by supervisor

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Required experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to read, write, and general comprehension
  • Ability to use measuring equipment and read blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• General knowledge of at least one of the following desired
  • Mechanical
  • Manufacturing / Production processes
