Plant Operators are responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and accurate processing of fumigant cylinders and related materials within our facility. Primary Responsibilities:
- Forklift Duties
- Safely operate a forklift to move and stage inventory including cylinders, plastic, and related materials
- Assist Fill Station and Runback Operators by placing and removing tanks from scales and runback racks
- Shipping/Receiving Duties:
- Label, palletize, and prep cylinders for transport
- Load and unload trucks
- Weigh pigs and tanks before leaving and after returning to the facility
- General Plant Support:
- Perform additional warehouse and plant tasks as needed, such as painting, pressure washing, and facility maintenance
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Forklift certification preferred
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Must be able to lift at least 65lbs with assistance
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
- Driver’s license preferred
- Experience in working in outdoor environment preferred
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
