Job Description

  • As a Manufacturing Coordinator/Inside Sales Rep. you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and ensuring production efficiency. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely creation, editing, and processing of the routings and work orders used to build our equipment.  You will help to ensure that required amounts of inventory are available and that needed items are procured before the start of projects.  You will maintain and update routings for stock, manufactured parts.  You will also be expected to help answer customer calls for parts and service and to quote sprayers from email, phone, and website inquiries.   

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain Bills of Materials for various products.
  • Create, update, and process work orders to build various products.
  • Work with suppliers to verify component availability and specifications.
  • Work with procurement to help ensure needed components are on-hand.
  • Verify the accuracy of work orders and routings.
  • Identify efficiencies in the manufacturing documentation process.
  • Utilize company ERP, website, and training resources effectively.
  • Conduct sales activities through email, phone, and in-person interactions.
  • Create detailed and accurate quotes, ensuring they align with customer needs and expectations.
  • In-office work model, with occasional travel for customer service, trade shows, and training.  Normal office hours: 7:30-4:30 Monday-Friday, extended hours may be required during the peak season (Feb.-May).
  • Travel expected to be less than 10% of the time.
  • Other related tasks as assigned by manager.

 

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience in supply chain management and/or BOM management.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Experience with ERP systems and BOM management software.
  • Computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, word processing, and ERP systems.
  • Industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Sales experience is preferred but not required.
